Yes. It’s very important that the vehicle is checked both at pick-up and at delivery. The condition of the car must be reviewed and confirmed by signing the CMR document (the transport contract).
It’s your responsibility to provide all the correct and necessary information on the CMR form during both pick-up and delivery. This protects you in case of any transport-related issues.
You can easily get a quote using our instant price calculator on our website. Simply enter your transport details, and you’ll receive a quote without any hidden fees.
You can book our services directly through our platform. After receiving your quote, follow the steps to complete the booking process. If you need assistance, our customer service team is here to help.
When booking, you’ll need to provide details about your vehicle, pick-up and delivery locations, and preferred dates. Additional information may be required for special requests.
Before we can schedule your transport, we first need to assign a suitable driver based on the route and availability. As soon as a driver is confirmed, your car will be planned in and you’ll see the status update on our platform.
Planning times can vary depending on demand, location, and how quickly a matching driver is found, but rest assured, we’re working on it and will keep you updated as soon as there’s progress.
Yes, we can also transport non-runners. In the booking process, simply select the correct vehicle state so we can calculate the right price and ensure the driver comes with the proper equipment.
For non-rollable cars (wheels completely blocked), please make sure there is loading or unloading assistance available at the pickup and delivery locations, since a winch alone may not be sufficient.
If you’re unsure or need help with a non-rollable vehicle, feel free to contact us — we’ll work out the best solution together.
If your order has not yet been planned, and the car is a runner, then yes, you can add another vehicle.
If your order has already been planned by a driver and scheduled, we first need to check with the driver if there is space available.
To add an additional car, please contact us at info@transportinghighway.com.
Yes, it’s possible to request early or fixed dates. Please note that in some cases an additional fee may apply. These requests need to be pre-discussed with our logistics planners, who will confirm availability and options.
We will never schedule or charge additional costs without your prior approval.
Depending on the country, this may be possible. Please send your request to info@transportinghighway.com. Our team will check if any drivers are available for that route and provide you with a price.
All required pickup documents should be added directly to your order.
Once your order is completed, go to the “To Plan” tab, click on “More details” for the correct order, and scroll down. There you’ll find the option to upload your documents.
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. For detailed information, please contact our support team.
No, our quotes are transparent and include all fees. There are no hidden charges.
For any invoice questions or issues, please contact
If the parking fees are known in advance, they must be paid directly to the loading location before the loading day.
If the fees are unexpected, we will first check if the driver can cover the cost. In that case, we will invoice the amount afterwards.
If the driver cannot pay, the client will need to arrange payment directly with the loading location.
For your first three orders, payment must be made upfront. In these cases, you will receive the invoice within a few days after the vehicle has been delivered (unloaded).
Once you switch to payment by invoice (7-days payment term after invoice date), the process is the same, the invoice is issued after delivery, but you pay only once you’ve received it.
Once your car has been picked up:
National (within the same country) transports are typically delivered within up to 5 days.
International transports usually take between 8 and 10 days, depending on the route and destination.
Please note that these are average timeframes, in some cases, delivery may take slightly longer, but we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
You can easily follow the status of your transport through our platform, where you’ll find different tabs: To Plan, Planned, Loaded, Unloaded, and Closed.
Once a driver accepts your order, it moves to Planned.
When the vehicle is picked up, the driver updates the status to Loaded.
After delivery, the driver uploads the CMR to the platform and updates the status to Unloaded.
Once the invoice is sent to you, the order is marked as Closed.
This way, you always stay informed throughout the entire process.
If there are any delays, our team will notify you promptly and provide updates. We strive to ensure timely deliveries but will keep you informed of any changes.
If your order has not yet been planned (To Plan), you can cancel it at any time free of charge.
If your order has already been planned but you cancel more than 72 hours before the loading date, this is also free of charge.
If you cancel within 72 hours or less of the loading date, a fee of 75% of the order price will apply.
To cancel an order, please always contact us at info@transportinghighway.com.
A fault freight occurs when the driver is unable to load the vehicle for reasons outside of their control. Examples include:
The car has not been paid for yet
A pickup code is missing
The vehicle is not ready for collection
In such cases, 75% of the transport cost will be charged as compensation for the driver’s time and effort.
Afterwards, we can of course arrange another driver to complete the transport once it’s confirmed that the vehicle is ready for loading.
We understand this is always unfortunate. Both our company and our drivers are fully insured for such situations. In the unlikely event that your vehicle is damaged, please document the damage with photos and contact us immediately. Our insurance will cover the necessary repairs.
If you notice damage, please send us an email at info@transportinghighway.com. Claims can be submitted within 24 hours after delivery, but it is essential that the damage is also recorded on the CMR at the time of delivery.
The car must be empty before loading. Personal belongings or additional items inside the vehicle are not covered by insurance and may delay or prevent transport.
Yes, washing your car before transport can help you and the driver to identify any pre-existing damage and ensure an accurate inspection report.
We recommend leaving a quarter tank of fuel in your vehicle / battery charge. This is sufficient for loading and unloading while keeping the weight of your car manageable.
